Student Ministry

7 - 12 grade

The Student Ministry exists to make Him known through Sunday morning Bible Study, Wednesday “Shift” Student Worship Service, Small Groups “D- Groups”, mission trips, camps, and much more.

The teenage years are an exciting time. The student ministry is all about encouraging students to pursue God. We intentionally create an environment in which teenagers can connect with Christ and with other students. Wednesday night is a high-impact worship combined with an authentic small group time led by trained student leaders and adults.

I'm excited to share that we've engaged the services of Youth Ministry Architects to help us navigate through all the challenges and opportunities that are present as we begin the search for a new Youth Pastor and begin the process of building the youth staff and organization necessary to take us to an even better place in student ministries. Youth Ministry Architects have been assigned the task of walking with us for 16 months as we continue to build on the excellent foundation Mark Welshimer has left us in regard to student ministries.

We hope to have a new Youth Pastor on staff soon who will work with YMA in growing this very important ministry. Until then, we have an interim staff in place to insure that our youth ministry continues to be a healthy and fun place for students.  Every program will continue as usual as we begin to build toward our future.
