Who do you say Jesus is? It's the most important question you will face in life. Who you follow indicates what you think of that person or group. We never pick out the team least likely to win and root for them (unless you're a Cubs fan, of course!). We believe in a team, or a candidate, or an investment . . . and then we invest time, money, honor, love etc. in following what we believe to be a "winner." Jesus comes and teaches in Luke 5:1-10 and then asks a very audacious-sounding thing. He asks people to follow Him. Literally. Like, drop your job, put down the books, and see where He goes and what He says and does. Can you imagine what it would take for you - yes you reading these words - to drop everything you are doing today and follow some person. That had better be one, special person!! Who do you say Jesus Christ is? A teacher? You'll find many excellent teachers all around town. A media-magnet? Check out MTV and you'll see plenty. God's Savior for the whole world? Well, if that's your final answer, you've got some following to do! See you Saturday!
