Nursery Ministry
(6
weeks - 2 years)
Rooms
116-119
Infants
and toddlers learn that the church is a special place through
the dedication and care shown to them by trained staff and
volunteers. We use the Little Blessings nursery curriculum
as well as simple music, stories and games to teach of God's
love.

Early
Childhood
(3 years - Kindergarten)
Rooms 121-126
Using the Movers and Shakers curriculum by Gospel Light teachers
guide young children in learning the basic foundational concepts
of faith. Because they learn best through activity,
play centers, art and music are used to reinforce the Bible
lesson each week.

Cross
Training
(1st
- 4th Grade)
Rooms
213-218
CROSS
TRAINING is the name of our Sunday school for elementary age
children. This unique approach to Bible teaching, created
for varied learning styles, allows children to not only hear
the lesson but to also be a "part of" the lesson
so that they can apply it to every day life. Just as
an athlete "cross trains" in different activities
to strengthen his/her body, children train in their knowledge
of the cross through varied learning styles.
Over a 4 year period children learn 150 Bible stories with
a core virtue and memory verse as the framework each month.
The same virtue is taught for 4 weeks, but the children
experience it in a different room each time they are here:
theater, game room, art room, and kitchen. Children
should check the board in the hallway on the second floor
each Sunday or the link below to find out which workshop to
attend.

UNPLUGGED
(5th
- 6th Grade)
Rooms
301-303
Preteens
are a moving target. Kids 5th & 6th grades are too
old for children's Bible lessons, but too young for youth
Bible lessons. They need GRAPPLE - a preteen Bible curriculum
that gets kids digging into the Bible to relate faith to real
life and to find answers to questions they grapple with the
most.

Sunday
School classes are available for all children. Classes are divided
according to age as of September 1st or grade in school. Two Sunday
School hours are offered, one at 9:30 a.m. and one at 10:50 a.m.
to accommodate those who attend the traditional worship services
at 8:15 or 10:50 a.m. or the Celebration Praise and Worship Service
at 9:30 a.m.
Each
class is led by a team of dedicated teachers who present a strong
Bible-based program and work to establish a close personal relationship
with each child.
Volunteers
are encouraged to serve during a one month rotation.
