Welcome to the website of the First United Methodist Church of Waco. I hope you find the information provided helpful and easy to navigate.

In these days of trying to maximize life, many of us sense the need for a fresh start. We add activities, join new clubs, go to new places, meet new people and yet there is still an inner hunger that goes unfilled. I am firmly convinced that Jesus Christ is the one who fills that inner hunger and maximizes life and First Methodist is Christ centered. We’re a diverse and multi-generational church that focuses on ministering to the whole person.

Recently, FUMC received the distinction of being one of the top 100 churches in attendance out of 36,000 United Methodist Churches in the US.
